Chronic pain evaluation and treatment. Management options include: non-medication and non-procedural options, non-opioid medication options, and interventional (procedural) options. Common interventional options include: epidural steroid injections, spine facet-joint injections, radiofrequency nerve ablations, joint injections, trigger point injections, nerve blocks, and nerve stimulation. X-ray or ultrasound guidance is often used for injections.
