About Marina Hoag, DNP;FNP-BC;
35 years in the Berkshires
I am a Massachusetts native who has lived intermittently in the Berkshires throughout my life. I currently reside in Dalton with my husband. Outside of medicine, I am passionate about art, nature, history, food, language, movement, and culture. I have traveled to 24 countries around the world and explored much of the United States.
My nursing career started with an Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Berkshire Community College, where I now also serve as an adjunct clinical faculty member for nursing. After 12 years as a registered nurse, I earned my Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Elms College. I spent my first two years working as a Family Nurse Practitioner in primary care before choosing to specialize in pain management and joining BHS. When providing patient care, I find it essential to view patients holistically and work together with them to achieve their health goals effectively.
