By working together and caring for each other, our community and our health system have overcome numerous challenges in the past few months. Together, we can now cautiously look to the future—a future in which COVID-19 and its possible resurgence will be present. Berkshire Health Systems (BHS) will be there to continue battling the virus whenever and wherever it occurs within our community.
The costs associated with fighting COVID-19 have resulted in tremendous financial losses for our health system. Though we have received several government grants and loans, our operating deficit and financial projections for the future remain sobering. In order to help our facilities recover from the first wave of COVID and prepare our hospitals, clinics, and physician practices for whatever lies ahead, we are asking for your help.Your donation, in any amount, to our COVID-19 Relief Fund for Berkshire Health Systems will help us continue to provide the best possible health care to all in the Berkshires and enable us to retain the ability to quickly and thoroughly respond to the COVID-19 public health crisis as it evolves.
