|Heart Health Events to be Held at BMC and Fairview in February|

BHS TO PRESENT HEART HEALTH EVENTS IN FEBRUARY: PUBLIC PRESENTATIONS IN PITTSFIELD AND GREAT BARRINGTON
PITTSFIELD, MA – In celebration of American Heart Month in February, Berkshire Health Systems will present two public events focusing on heart health, to be held at Berkshire Medical Center and Fairview Hospital. Both events will feature a discussion led by a cardiology specialist from Cardiology Services at BHS. The presentations will include the latest heart health information and hands-on education from BHS health professionals on blood pressure, Body Mass Index, cardiac rehabilitation, community resources, diabetes, diagnostic cardiology testing, nutrition, stroke risk and tobacco treatment programs.
The Pittsfield program will be held on Tuesday, February 24th from 5:30 to 7:00 pm at Berkshire Medical Center, in the Private Dining Rooms adjacent to the Café. Dr. William Levy will lead the discussion, followed by a tour of the new BMC Cardiac Laboratory Suite.
The Great Barrington program will be held on Thursday, February 26th from 5:30 to 7:00 pm at Fairview Hospital, in the first floor Conference Room, with Dr. Martin Broder presenting.
Pre-registration is required for both events, and the first 50 people to register at each location will receive a special heart healthy gift.
