Fairview Hospital provides community outreach services in partnership with Berkshire Health Systems. Working in collaboration with local organizations, we are committed to respond to the health needs of our neighbors and to lead the effort to create an informed and healthy community.
In addition to special education programs that are offered on a wide range of topics at the hospital, Fairview Hospital reaches out to the community in schools, senior centers, civic groups and any organization that expresses interest whenever possible.
Fairview Hospital plays an important role in providing training for our professional medical community and education for our general community. Ongoing programs including CPR, AED defibrillator trainings, smoking programs, and access to healthcare services are available. Our team also works closely with members of the community to address important health and safety initiatives such as the Southern Berkshire Regional Emergency Planning Committee, which prepares our community for a manmade or natural disaster.
Our physicians and medical staff are frequently asked to speak to the local media and local organizations on relevant health issues. To make such a request, please call the Office of Community Relations at (413) 854-9611.
