"Nothing tastes as good as feeling thin. Nothing can ever make me go back to being the way I was. I've lost over 100 pounds since my surgery, and my life is now totally different. The interesting thing is, I didn't have to stop living to be this way.
Before my surgery, I felt so unhealthy. I was always short of breath and I didn't want to do a lot with my family. I thought I was bringing them down. But now, I can out-run them all.
Weight loss surgery was not an easy way out. I have to make an effort every day to make the right choices in what to eat and to exercise. The weight loss surgery program has been with me every step of the way, and I've made wonderful new friends who are going through the same experience as me. I am so happy I made this decision."
