Douglas B. O’Neill, MD, specializes in internal medicine. He chose primary care because he always wanted to take care of the whole person. His goal with patients is to help them achieve wellness, which is “where a healthy diet, happiness, and exercise meet.”
After graduating from the Ohio State University, Dr. O’Neill attended Columbia University for a post-baccalaureate program, before attending the Medical College of Pennsylvania. He was chief medical resident at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.
He is a member of the American College of Physicians, and he is a certified clinical densitometrist (bone density).
Dr. O’Neill chose to move to the northern Berkshires, because “mountains and culture make a great combination.” In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, gardening, snowshoeing, and skiing.
