Nutrition Program Designed to Help People Run Well
PITTSFIELD, MA – Whether you’re just starting off on a running exercise regimen or have been working out regularly, Berkshire Medical Center’s Care Navigation Program is offering an event that can help with being nutritionally ready to run. Eat to Run Well will be held on Monday, October 3rd at 6:30 pm in the BMC Auditorium, featuring Jennifer Ward, Registered Dietitian and Certified Personal Trainer.
Ward will discuss the basics of what people need to know to make better food choices, stay hydrated and energized during races and workouts, and how to avoid unnatural products that make empty promises about eliciting better performance. The session will include easy-to-understand concepts and tips to improve performance and body composition that are immediately applicable.
The program is free and open to all. Pre-registration is required. To register, call Sally Croshier, BMC Care Navigation Program, 413-395-7992.
