Two Physicians Join Pulmonary Services at BMC
PITTSFIELD, MA - Berkshire Health Systems announces the appointments of Michael Mortelliti, MD, and Twinkle Chandak, MD, fellowship trained Pulmonary and Critical Care physicians, to the medical staff of Berkshire Medical Center and the physician staff of Pulmonary Professional Services of BMC. Both Drs. Mortelliti and Chandak are accepting new patients in need of Pulmonary care, and join Drs. Daniel Doyle and Jack Ringler at Pulmonary Professional Services of BMC.
Dr. Mortelliti returns to BMC after having initially served at the hospital from 2004 to 2010. He spent the past year undergoing fellowship training in Sleep Medicine at Fletcher Allen Healthcare, University of Vermont Regional Sleep Center. He is also fellowship trained in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine from Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Mortelliti received his medical degree from the University of Vermont School of Medicine and completed his residency at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC.
Dr. Chandak is fellowship trained in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine from the New York University School of Medicine, North Shore University, Long Island Jewish Hospital. She received her medical degree from Seth GS Medical College and KEM Hospital in Mumbai, India and completed her residency at Mount Sinai School of Medicine – Englewood Hospital and Medical Center, Englewood, NJ.
