IOL Emotional Intelligence Part II: Leadership
BHS MANAGERS ONLY Please join Mark Kenyon and Matthew Painter for Part II of a two-part series on emotional intelligence. Please register for both parts. This workshop builds upon emotional intelligence basics and focuses more on emotional management as part of being an effective leader. Learning Objectives include: -Determine which of the Six Leadership styles of Emotional Intelligence, fit a particular situation. -Develop an Emotional Intelligence Leadership learning plan using Goleman’s “Five Questions” of Emotional Intelligence. -Specify the 25 Emotional Competencies of Emotional Intelligence to increase aptitude in each Limited enrollment. NOTE: Participants may be awarded institutional-based contact hours credits (non-ANCC) upon completion of the workshop. The credits meet the BORN requirements for nursing contact hours in MA and are accepted for license renewal (may be accepted by other states as well). Individuals from disciplines other than nursing are requested to contact their accrediting board to determine if the contact hours will be accepted. In order to obtain a contact hour certificate, participants must stay for the entire program and complete an evaluation form.
