Skin Lesion Care
A skin lesion is a superficial growth or patch of skin that does not resemble the area surrounding it. It can be caused by a wide variety of conditions and diseases. Many abnormalities of the skin are quite visible, and often continue without appropriate treatment until too late. While most skin lesions do not cause serious problems, patients often want them removed for practical or cosmetic reasons.
There are many treatments for skin lesions, including the use of liquid nitrogen gas, chemical removal, photodynamic therapy, or surgical removal that will quickly eliminate the problem.
