It is important that we show our patients how we measure up when it comes to quality and safety standards, shown objectively in comparison to other hospitals, state or national trends, and different departments within the organization.
We are proud to report our quality data. Just click on one of the logos below:
Hospital Quality Measures are standards of treatment that result in proven benefits when applied to patients. Currently, our health system is monitoring measures for patients with Acute Myocardial Infarction, Heart Failure, Pneumonia, and the Surgical Care Improvement Project. These measurements are now widely publicized at major web sites sponsored by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and The Joint Commission.
Through data management processes, we are able to collect, analyze and report data to determine our level of performance and patient care throughout our hospitals.
Comprehensive clinical management systems have been implemented at Berkshire Health Systems, such as Multidisciplinary Rounds and a Medical Emergency Response Team.
