What type of Visa is offered?
We can transfer existing H1B visas or resident status with EA card.
Are minimum scores on standardized tests required?
- A passing score on the NBDE Part I is required
- Foreign trained graduates are required to take theTOEFL and receive a minimum scores of:
- Written = 25
- Spoken = 24
- Reading = 21
- Listening = 17
- Total TOEFL combined = 90
How long since graduating from Dental School is acceptable?
We prefer applicants that have graduated within 10 years.
How many recommendation letters are required?
Three (3) letters are required.
Do recommendation letters have to be from institutions/dentists within the United States?
No your recommendation letters do not have to come from locations in the United States.
How many positions to you offer per year?
We have a total of three (3) positions available with one reserved for an optional second year for our current residents only. Should none of our residents choose to stay for the optional second year, all three positions would then be available for PGY-1 residents.
How many PASS applications do you receive?
We receive approximately 50-60 applications each year.
When is your application deadline?
The deadline to apply to our program is mid-November.
When do you schedule interviews?
Interviews are scheduled on Fridays from November through mid-December.
How can I apply to your program?
PASS applications ONLY - we do not accept applications via email, fax, or phone.
Do you accept foreign dental graduates (FMG) and international dental graduates (IMG)?
Yes, we accept both foreign and international dental graduates.
How long was your program accredited for by American Dental Association (ADA)?
The program has been accredited since 1969, with our most recent accreditation from the ADA in 2007, certifying us through 2015 with no reporting requirements.
