Carpal tunnel syndrome is pain, tingling, weakness and other problems in your hand because of pressure on the median nerve in your wrist. This pressure can come from swelling that makes the carpal tunnel in your wrist smaller.
Diagnosis and treatment of carpal tunnel include blood and nerve testing, reduction of inflammation in the wrist, use of a wrist splint, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs or other medications, and surgery. We will determine the causes of your carpal tunnel symptoms, then recommend ways to change your habits and activities to prevent the condition.
