Welcome to Spiritual Care at BMC
Greetings from Our Team
Our team makes daily rounds throughout the hospital and responds to individual requests for spiritual support and services. In addition, we facilitate “Hope and Strength” spirituality groups on the behavioral health and substance abuse units. We extend these services and supports to our patients, their families and also to the staff of BMC.
In addition, the Chaplains make every effort to be available on an on-call basis for emergency requests outside of our regular business hours. See below for more information on how to reach a member of our team.
The Spiritual Care Team collaborates with area clergy and faith community leaders whenever needed to meet our patients’ spiritual needs. Communion is made available to our Catholic patients by our volunteer Eucharistic Ministers who round the hospital daily.
*For an emergent need outside of business hours, please contact the BMC Operator at 413.447.2000; they will facilitate contact with our Chaplains or community clergy on your behalf.
The Interfaith Chapel at BMC
The Interfaith Chapel at BMC is located on the first floor of the hospital building next to the main entrance and lobby. This peaceful space is available 24/7 for private reflection and prayer.
